History of OUMC

   The Orlean United Methodist Food Pantry is designed to be a visible sign of God's Love to
those in need.  The Pantry serves local poor, elderly and those forgotten by their own families as well as society in general.  The Pantry has assisted Grandmothers in poor health and living conditions who are raising their grandchildren, a family with five children whose husband became seriously ill and temporarily out of work, and the elderly with no money for food or medications.  Some of these people required assistance only once.  Often people come to us when no other agency or church will assist them.  continued
