Tool Tyme 2009 will be November 13-15.

Here are the results of our 2008 efforts:

  • Collected and split 8 ricks of wood.
  • Built one deck, off-site.
  • Assembled and sent 250 pieces of mail.
  • Assembled and decorated 3 Christmas Trees.
  • Washed (inside and out) and weatherproofed 11 windows.
  • Sold $300 in Native American crafts, $450 in Senior crafts and $1,700 in mats and shirts.
  • Cleaned and sorted in the Thrift Store.
  • Packed 250 food boxes, 300 stockings.
  • Raked a mountain of leaves.
  • Put up all outside decorations.
  • Moved 75 boxes and set up the 2008 Christmas Store.
  • Framed the sidewalk to the Health Resource Center.
  • Packed 40 Layettes and 10 fist aid kits.
  • Baked 82 dozen cookies, 30 turkeys and 17 pies.
  • 'Put up' 182 jars of jelly.
  • Scrubbed and cleaned two day care facilities.
  • Cut 6,100 soup can labels.
  • Packed many pack'n snacks.

TOTAL OF 738 HOURS OF WORK, EQUIVALENT TO
ONE FULL TIME PERSON WORKING 19 WEEKS, OR $4,833.90 AT MINIMUM WAGE, (which the Mission Center could otherwise never afford) ALL IN ONE WEEKEND!
