Our Mission

Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church is a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. We are a church comprised of people who nurture one another in faith, hope, and charity. The men, women, and youth of our church are dedicated to serving Jesus Christ, one another, and YOU.

Through our worship, our Sunday School, and our other activities, God's grace is made real to us, and through our acts of benevolence, we convey the reality of that grace to others in our community and in the world.

Our objectives are:

to bear witness to our faith by proclaiming the Gospel through word and deed that others might come to have faith in the Son of God,

to intentionally nurture one another in the Christian faith,

to promote healing and wholeness in Christ's name,

to equip every Christian for faithful discipleship, and

to provide for the physical, social, and spiritual needs of people in Christ's way.
