Money Creek United Methodist Church is located 60 miles east of Rochester in southeastern Minnesota, 9 miles south of Interstate 90. Follow MN Highway 76 to six miles north of Houston, MN.
Money Creek is nestled in one of the many valleys formed by the rolling hills of historic "Bluff Country." Our current church building is the third place of worship for this congregation which was formed in 1857. After two previous churches burned down, the present building was constructed in 1907. This wonderful stone church features curved pews, three magnificent, priceless stained glass windows, and several smaller, but no less impressive, stained glass windows.
This building is the home of a small, Christ loving, evangelical, and friendly congregation. We are proud of our diverse membership. We have a strong group of young families and an active Sunday School. For a small country church, we are pleased that we have 24 children and 9 adults in our Sunday School.
In recent years there has been a wonderful anointing of the Holy Spirit over the ministry and many members of this church. In addition to the dinners, the highlight of the year is the weekend-long Revival Meeting held at the nearby Money Creek Haven campground. At these meetings, we have music, worship, singing, and of course, preaching of God's Word. At each of the three nights of the Revival meetings there are different bands and different preachers, but always the presence of God!
We are linked with two wonderful sister churches, Ridgeway and Witoka United Methodist Churches.

Witoka UMC is located 60 miles east of Rochester in southeastern Minnesota, just north of Interstate 90. Use MN Highway 76 exit. Services are at 9:00 A.M. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Services are combined at Ridgeway during the heating season and at Witoka in the summer.
