Sunday Children's Ministries
Each Sunday morning at the McKnight Church there are several opportunities for children to know and learn more about God's love in a personal way.

  • At 9:30 a.m. the children attend their respective age-oriented small group learning sessions.
  • A bit later in the morning, as part of the worship time, young people are invited to meet together with the Pastor for a special sharing time.

Nurture Hour / Christian Education Classes
9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning (September through May) there are small group experiences for children, youth, and adults (formerly known as Sunday School).

Youth Group
The youth of the McKnight congregation (grades 6-12) meet together on Sunday evenings for fellowship, spiritual growth, and service. All youth are welcome.

All men are invited to participate.

Free Monthly Blood Pressure Screening
If you have high blood pressure or have a family history of high blood pressure or heart disease, monitoring blood pressure is one important step toward insuring good health. Every Sunday at McKnight Church, trained people monitor and document blood pressure so you have an ongoing record to share with your doctor when you visit.

  • When?
Last Sunday of the month after service (about 12 noon)
  • Where ?
In the church library (come in the front doors and go to the room behind the mail boxes)
  • Who?
Everyone should have a baseline check, and those with heart disease or a family history of heart disease or high blood pressure should have periodic checks. Weekly monitoring is important for many.

If you have a special concern, please ask one of the nurses and they would be happy to check your blood pressure on any Sunday!

Preschool
From September through May, the McKnight congregation hosts an extension of St. Paul's Preschool as well as a drop in day care service, which is available from 7:30a.m.-5p.m., Monday through Friday.
