Children's Ministries
Each
Sunday morning at the McKnight Church there are several opportunities
for children to know and learn more about God's love in a
personal way.
- At
9:30 a.m. the children attend their respective age-oriented
small group learning sessions.
- A
bit later in the morning, as part of the worship time, young
people are invited to meet together with the Pastor
for a special sharing time.
Nurture
Hour / Christian Education Classes
9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning (September
through May) there are small group experiences for children,
youth, and adults (formerly known as Sunday School).
Youth
Group
The
youth of the McKnight congregation (grades 6-12) meet together
on Sunday evenings for fellowship, spiritual growth, and service.
All youth are welcome.
United
Methodist Women
Together,
the women of the McKnight congregation form the United Methodist
Women's group (U.M.W.). They meet for fellowship, education,
mission emphasis and service (local and world-wide). All women
are invited to participate.
United
Methodist Men
The
United Methodist Men's group meets monthly to plan educational
events and fellowship activities for the congretation. In
addition, the men's group uses their skills to help members
of the congregation during times of need, such those who have
been called to active military duty, or those who are struggling
with illness or injury. All men are invited to participate.

Global
Links Volunteers
Church members regularly volunteer at Global
Links, a Pittsburgh-based humanitarian and environmental

serving the poorest members of society in less-developed countries.
