ubilate!
of the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church is a chapter
of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts (FUMMWA*).
Our mission is to create opportunities for people to experience and share the
interrelationship of community, worship, art and theology. We achieve this
by
- Conducting annual summer festival/retreats that explore music, drama,
liturgical movement, visual arts, and spiritual disciplines as creative
worship forms.
- Sponsoring international trips for sharing a music and worship ministry
with other cultures.
- Providing counsel and leadership in worship, music and other arts to
local churches, districts, PNW Conferences, and other conferences as requested.

Statement of Theology
The Jubilate community takes seriously the subtle and severe truth that shared
worship is near the center of every Christian act. We affirm that worship can
have integrity, vitality, and fire when people attend to God and to the gifts
God has given all people.

Jubilate Logo
The logo you see at the top of this screen is based on an idea created
by Stephen Lyman in 1988, the summer he and his wife were on staff at Holy
Names in Spokane, WA. He is noted for his Western art, which is sold in
popular prints. Sadly, Lyman later fell to his death while filming in
Yosemite. The colorful evolution of Steve's idea has been used ever since.
