"All of my life, music has been my primary way of worshiping the Father. It is through singing His praises that I have found His presence and have learned that only in His presence is fullness of joy (Ps 16:11).

I consider it a great honor that the Lord is giving me opportunities to share the songs that He has written through me. Revelation 12:11 tells us that we have overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. These songs are the word of my testimony. They were written unto the Lord from the very depths of my being and I have found them to have a transforming power from the anointing of the Holy Spirit to affect first of all my life, and then others.

It is my prayer that 'through the songs that I sing and the music I bring', Lord you will 'minister Your word and draw men closer to Thee'."

Background:

Alice was born in Salisbury, NC and raised in the Methodist Church. At an early age, she was singing solos and in church choirs. Accompanied by her guitar and piano skills, Alice began to lead groups in praise and worship. Song writing began in her early teens and continues to this day.

Alice received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from East Carolina University, and currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Winterville NC. Alice has had experience as church choir director and praise and worship leader at HTUMC for 10 years. She has also performed music for such organizations as Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship and Camp Fartherest Out retreats.

In June, 1995, Alice made her first recording, "In His Name". All of the songs were either written or co-written by her. Alice's abilities allow for a variety of ministry options. She is available for full concerts, teaching, leading congregational praise, or providing special music for all types of meetings.
