Psalm 91:4  He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.


You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord
Who abide in his shadow for life
Say to the Lord: "My refuge
My Rock in whom I trust!"

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings

Michael Joncas holds a doctorate degree in Sacred Liturgy.  He is an assistant professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Theology in St. Paul, Minnesota.  This is probably his most widely known song.  On Eagle's Wings has been one of the most frequently sung tunes in Catholic churches for the past 20 years.
