How do we talk about race?

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Lisa Fagerstrom will lead us in an open and honest conversation about race, diversity, and how to talk about them! (Lisa has over 20 years of experience doing anti-racism and diversity work, and serves as the chairperson on the Council of Religion and Race for the New England Annual Conference.) Please join us on Friday, February 24th from 7-9pm in the Harvard-Epworth library for pizza and what promises to be a great conversation!"

Young Adults Group

Harvard-Epworth's Young Adult Group is open to any and all students and persons who identify as young adults.  We meet once a month for fellowship and/or service projects, and are always open to the input and leadership of our members.  Whether you come to every event, or can only attend once in a while, you are welcome and encouraged to join us!

Upcoming events are announced at church, printed in the bulletin, and appear as Facebook events, so friend us at "Harvard Epworth Young Adults" or join the e-mail list by sending your contact info to Allison Redfearn and Jessica Strysko at heyoungadults@gmail.com.

At the crossroads of the world's culture and faiths, Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church has been in ministry in Harvard Square for over a century. We strive to provide an inclusive Christian witness to the city and university. We participate in the Reconciling Ministries Network, and welcome all people, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, ability, marital status, or financial condition.
