Women's Group

The women at Harvard-Epworth have a long history of supporting each other, coming together each month in fellowship and fun, sharing dinner and vibrant conversation. We take turns meeting in our homes and apartments to celebrate our lives, share our hopes and heartaches, and catch up on what’s happening with each other. Each year we discuss and vote on how to disperse funds to support local and global missions and programs that empower women and children.

If you are looking for a place to be embraced without judgment or expectation, come join us at our next get together. We welcome all ages and encourage all women of the church to participate – whether you are visiting us for a short while or have been here for many years – whether you are a graduate student or a grandmother – an evening with the women of Harvard-Epworth is guaranteed to lift your spirits.

Last year the we celebrated summer at an overnight retreat held at two lakeside cottages in Maine, sharing a sumptuous feast and blessed relaxation.

At the crossroads of the world's culture and faiths, Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church has been in ministry in Harvard Square for over a century. We strive to provide an inclusive Christian witness to the city and university. We participate in the Reconciling Ministries Network, and welcome all people, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, ability, marital status, or financial condition.
