The Adult Bible Study meets Sundays, one hour before worship (9:00 a.m. during the summer and 10:00 a.m. during the academic year). Our goal is to explore biblical texts from multiple perspectives while paying particular attention to the social and historical contexts in which the texts of the Bible were written and their applications to our modern-day lives.
Throughout the fall, we will be taking an in-depth look at the parables. Certainly, we know them as profound, often complex stories that can change our lives. But this study will help us to understand just what they are, how they affect us, and by the end, we might just take a stab at writing our own.
