What is Healing Touch?
Healing Touch is an energy based therapeutic approach to healing.
It uses specific healing techniques to assess and treat the human energy system.
Along with conventional health care, research suggests that therapeutic healing touch treatments can be used effectively to:
- Reduce or relieve pain
- Manage stress and enhance relaxation
- Accelerate natural healing
- Boost the immune System
- Increase hemoglobin levels
- Increase wound healing
- Normalize blood pressure
- Prepare for and follow up after medical surgery
- Provide faster recovery from anesthesia and surgery
- Support for the dying process.
The Spiritual Life Center offers a weekly Wednesday healing session
At 5:30 – 7:00 for folks who would enjoy a treatment, beginning students, for the curious, for Bosom Buddies teams and folks who just want to see the work being done. A 15-minute meditation time is included. All are welcome. Parking is available in the Education Blding of First United Methodist Church where our office is located. 2nd floor – Maile Room – Donations are accepted. Call 523-1170 for additional information.
