Not here in Hawaii, since the arrival of Fr. Damian Higgins with his unusual gifts. As a teacher and internationally known iconographer, a school of Holy Art has been offered to many serious artists.

Fr. Damian, a priest-monk of the Ukrainian Catholic Church is a master, and has completed several icons for Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kahumanu Community Center, Our Lady of Good Hope, and private commissions in the Islands. He is a frequent visitor and happily the Spiritual Life Center offers Icon retreats and workshops during the year including all the necessary supplies.
