Rev. Hammett N. Evans,
Pastor
| A third-generation Methodist pastor, Bro. Hammett grew up in Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Dumas, and Jonesboro, Arkansas, graduating from Jonesboro High School in 1988. He earned a B.A. from Hendrix College in 1992 and a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2002.
Rev. Evans entered the United Methodist ministry in 1990 and was ordained in 2005. He has pastored churches in Quitman, Damascus, Enders, and Bryant, Arkansas, Mount Zion, Georgia, and the Wymondham-Attleborough-Watton Circuit in Norfolk, England. He also served as youth minister in Maumelle and Batesville and as activities and choir director in Crossett, Arkansas. Rev. Evans has served as pastor of Fordyce First UMC since June 2006.

Church Secretary
| Corrie Coates joined our church staff as our church secretary in July 2008. She and her husband, Saxon, have one daughter.

Lisa Knoedl,
Music Director
| A lifelong resident of Fordyce and member of our church family, Lisa has served as our pianist for approximately 25 years and as our Music Director since 2003. Lisa graduated from Fordyce High School in 1977, earned a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from the University of Central Arkansas in 1981 and a Master of Arts in Teaching (music education) from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2002. In addition to her church duties, Lisa is the Choir Director at Fordyce High School and has taught private piano lessons for approximately 30 years. Lisa married Mike Knoedl in 2005. Their blended family includes Lisa's daughters, Aimee and Allison, and Mike's sons, Tristan and Cole.

Brian Finley,
Chancel Choir Director
| Brian grew up in Fordyce, graduating from FHS in 1986. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Ouachita Baptist University in 1990. Brian has served as our Chancel Choir director since 2003. He also works as the Certified Internet Manager at Just Chevrolet in Fordyce.

| Larry has served as our custodian since 2004. He is a 1992 graduate of Fordyce High School. Larry has three children and has been married to his wife, Mosetta, for 13 years.
