| SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages.
Becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ takes a lifetime. Classes meet at 9:45 a.m. Ask for a full schedule of classes.

| CHILDREN learn about Christ and prepare to serve him.
In addition to Sunday school and Children’s Church, we offer children’s choirs, Vacation Bible School, and Children’s Day Out (CDO) Pre-school.

| YOUTH commit to Christ and care for others.
We offer our youth a wide-range of activities and opportunities to serve. The United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) meets on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. for a snack supper, followed by games and small group.

| ADULTS grow in faith and share in ministry.
We offer a full slate of groups, including United Methodist Women (UMW), United Methodist Men (UMM), Disciple Bible Study, and Lighthouse Beacons (our more “mature” adult fellowship group).

| MUSIC MINISTRIES are an important way we celebrate all God has done for us.
Besides our music ministries with children and youth, we have an adult choir and a praise team. The adult choir rehearses each Wednesday.

WE SERVE OUR COMMUNITY
First UMC has been a vital part of Fordyce from the very beginning.
We actively participate in the Ministerial Alliance, which helps transients and people in Fordyce who need emergency assistance. Also, we host the American Red Cross for their regular blood drives, support the local chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and regularly open our doors for other service-oriented organizations.

| THE LIGHTHOUSE is the heart of our community outreach ministries.
In addition to providing a place where many of our church groups meet, the Lighthouse holds our Food Pantry for hungry families. As the schedule allows, we welcome other community-service-minded
organizations to use the facility.
The Lighthouse includes the SONLight Theater, a 55-seat movie theater.
The Lighthouse & SONLight Theater are available for birthday parties, etc. for a fee.
