The
Elizabethtown District of the United Methodist has one purpose: To make
disciples of Jesus Christ so those disciples are able to build a
“Christ-like” world. The district which is made up of 73
congregations located in 10 different counties of central Kentucky fulfills its
purpose through its primary task of providing effective clergy and lay leaders
and by providing training, support and resources to every local congregation in
the district. As a connectional church, United Methodists together help each
other be what God needs us to be in every place!
