Building Program Update
A new building committee was established by the Adminstrative
Council Tuesday, January 25, 2005. The initial
effort of reviewing needs and costs, and gathering information on the vision of
the congregation is currently underway. More information
will be provided as it becomes available.
Building Trivia:
- There are just over 14,000 concrete blocks in the walls of the new Sanctuary building.
- The big beam's name is B-5, weighs 8250 pounds, is 47 feet long and took a 70 ton crane to lift it.
- There are 15,840 Square Feet of decking in the roof. The equivalent of a strip 1 ft wide, 3 miles long.
- The height of the tower to the top of the cross is 88 feet.
