The costs of using Dearborn First United Methodist Church for your wedding are:
**NOTE: These fees may be more for a wedding on a holiday weekend.**
The heating and cooling system for the air in the sanctuary is costly to operate and can reach $100 per day in the extreme temperatures of winter and summer. Fees for the use of the church that are charged to members are intended to pay these costs.
A deposit of $150.00, this signed form (given to the church office), and the information sheet (given to the wedding coordinator) will guarantee your use of the church sanctuary after the date has been confirmed with our pastor. A bill for the remaining balance will be sent approximately 2 months prior to your wedding date. Full payment of all fees is due ONE WEEK prior to the wedding rehearsal. All fees should be combined in one cashierís check or money order to First United Methodist Church of Dearborn, except for the organist fee, the pastorís honorarium, and the wedding coordinator fee which should be made out in their name and given AT THE REHEARSAL.
If your wedding is cancelled for any reason four months or less before the scheduled ceremony, the deposit will be retained by the Church as a contribution.
