Cartecay United Methodist Women are very active with projects and missions. .

The Morning Glories meet on the third Thursday of each month at 11:00 am. These enthusiastic women enjoy a program followed by lunch and fellowship.

Each October, the UMW members support the UMM annual chicken Bar-B-Que dinner fundraiser by baking individual desserts to accompany the meals.

Throughout the year, beginning in February and continuing through September, the UMW crafters meet at 10:00 am on the first and third Thursdays of the month. This is a time of fellowship and productivity as they work on various crafts for the annual Craft Bazaar held in conjunction wth the men's Bar-B-Que dinner event.

All women of the church work together on various projects and programs as they arise during the year.
