The Mission

The mission of Cartecay United Methodist Church is to glorify God through the worship of His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Living our lives as He leads us through prayer, service, and mission, we seek to bring others into a relationship with God.

The Vision

We envision a church ...

   ... that includes and accepts all people offering them a place to learn, grow, play, worship, celebrate, witness, and serve.

   ... with a partnership between laity and clergy who, in the love and light of God, are inwardly secure, outwardly focused, and constantly in ministry.

   ... that is socially conscious and socially involved as both a partner and a leader in cooperative, ecumenical, and interfaith missions and education in our community.
