Brown, Barbara Roach, and Elizabeth Woodly began a

- Mort Backer became the corporate and philanthropic
fundraiser. In September 1990, he was succeeded by Lael
(Plunkett) Murphy.

- Old South Church paid for replacement of electric range
in kitchen($2,500.00).

Karen Bryant, pastor of Church of All Nations,

World Wide Web

The program is now administered by 48 organizations of 1,000
volunteers. There are no paid employees or staff. This is an
interfaith, interdenominational, interracial, human activity of
people concerned about the hungry in the Boston area.
