fully capitalizing on the media’s
power of recognition and invitation?
If the answers include “No,”
“Maybe” or even “I don’t know,” an Igniting Ministry training event can help you
ensure that your church is truly welcoming
and hospitable.

At the Igniting Ministry training
event:
The Igniting Ministry Planning
Kit
will help you take the best
advantage of the national advertising by providing ideas, timelines, strategies
and advertisements, among which you can choose to suit your local situation.
United Methodist Communications
will produce television spots and purchase time on cable television for national
advertising. You will use the planning kit to plan your local advertising campaign, based on the
national ads.
Every element of the Planning Kit
is aimed at helping you use communications to
begin the process of making disciples for Christ.
Communications is everything we do
and say—or don’t do or
say—and even how we look. That’s why the kit
includes sections on inviting, welcoming and assimilation, in addition to what
you might consider marketing and advertising.

event and receive the planning kit, complete the attached form.
