The purpose of the Bourne United Methodist is to provide opportunity to celebrate and deepen the Christian’s relationship with God and to bring all to a saving faith in him.  The Bourne United Methodist Church is a community of Christians who with faith in Jesus Christ engage in: 
“WORSHIP” in which people are invited into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
“FELLOWSHIP” in a welcoming environment of acceptance, baptism, and love as members of the family of God.
“DISCIPLESHIP” through opportunities to develop lifelong spiritual growth;
“MINISTRY” by reflecting God’s love in our daily lives through service and witness to others; and
“EVANGELISM” by proclaiming the good news to members of our community and beyond.
