PARISH MINISTRY |
| The
United Methodist Church frequently links two churches together to
strengthen the ministry and make the most effective use of resources.
The Bourne and Cataumet United Methodist Churches have been a parish
family for over 30 years. This arrangement provides our people with an
option of Sunday services and a wider variety of programs not always
available in one church. Many of our parishioners attend a worship
service in their partnership church at least once a year. Combined
services take place on Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. Parish
Bible study, outdoor hymn sings and church suppers also bring members
of the two churches together in worship and fellowship.
