Until 1968, Bethel Hill was one of several small, rural churches in the Evansburg Circuit and did not have a full-time pastor.
We have several long-term members who are third and fourth generation members as
well as many new members. It is a
multi-racial, multi-cultural congregation
that still retains a strong flavor of rural/suburban America.
CHURCH
ORGANIZATION
The
programs of the church are coordinated through the Administrative Board with
representatives from each of the major
work areas of the church plus
members-at-large elected by the congregation. Specific areas of work include
Council on
Ministries (including education, library and publications),
Evangelism, Finance, Missions, Nominating, Pastor-Parish Relations,
Trustees,
and Worship.
We are a member of the Central District of the Eastern
Pennsylvania Conference
of the United Methodist Church.
