The cruise took place as planned on Saturday, April
23rd. The weather was supposed to be terrible but while we were on the
ship the skies remained dry and the breezes were warm. Upon being
seated on the ship, Helen, Phyllis, and Harry enjoy the music prior to
eating.
There was a disc jocky and 3 entertainers that performed for us several times during the cruise. They were very talented and did song and dance routines for us as we enjoyed the meal and watched the points of interest pass by the windows.
Sandy and Don were enjoying a music number by one of the
young ladies in the show and the next thing I know
she has her arm around Don's neck and is singing directly to him
......... what a babe magnet!!!
Now that the ship is moving, Nancy and Alan take the
opportunity to see some of the sites outside before we are told to go to the
buffet tables.
The Cruise lasted almost 2 1/2 hours and we had enjoyable
weather for the drive home. Phyllis and I (Larry) had a very enjoyable
afternoon and was afforded the opportunity to get to know our fellow Quaintance
Group members better. We are looking forward to the next activity!
