Creating a Culture of Peace in Today’s World
St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Carol Stream would like to invite you to a seminar, Creating a Culture of Peace in Today’s World, to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Dr. Osvaldo Vena, Associate Professor of New Testament Interpretations at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, will be the leader, helping us explore how we read scriptures, interpret local and global violence in light of biblical interpretations of peace, and how to live out PEACE in today’s world. The event is open to all who are eager to bring peace to our every day life.
