About the Aurora District
The Aurora District of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church is made up of 66 congregations covering a large geographic area.
Geographic Area
- On the north, we have Carol Stream
- On the northwest, we reach Kaneville, Geneva and St. Charles
- On the northeast, Lombard and Hinsdale
- To the east is Worth and Palos Heights
- To the west Sandwich
- The south we go as far as Wilmington
- On the southwest is Morris
- On the southeast is Peotone
