There is a need for volunteer office assistance during absences. Responsibilities will include answering phone, distributing mail, typing and copying the weekly bulletin. help church office, 631-1151. _

The Trustees are looking for volunteers to help with the nightly lock-up. help Duane Brooks, 636-7503. _

The Worship Ministry Area is seeking individuals and/or groups interested in sharing their gifts in that portion of the worship typically designated Music Ministry. Music, dramatic reading, liturgical dance, personal testimony, and the like can all be used to enhance the worship experience. help Donna Clark, 989-687-7157. _

New Member Ministry is looking for Hosts and Hostesses to spend 15-20 minutes prior to each service helping first time visitors find their way around Aldersgate. help Marge Klashak, 835-3350. _

Shelterhouse needs people who would be willing to stay overnight on either Friday or Saturday nights from 11pm to 7am in order to give the staff a much-needed weekend break. help 835-6771. _

First Call for Help connects people in need with people who can help them. Midland County has many health and human service agencies that work together to help meet a wide variety of needs. help 835-2211. _

The Midland County Family Division is seeking foster parents for youths 10-17. There is need for both short and long-term placements. Payment is provided. help Michele Bell, 832-6398. _

MidMichigan Hospice is seeking volunteers for patient support, bereavement and office services. Training is provided. help 839-1770. _

The Midland County Educational Service Agency is looking for substitute Paraeducators. Visit them at 3917 Jefferson for more information. _

The Council on Aging needs volunteer drivers for half days or full days to help seniors who no longer drive to get to doctors appointments, the store, hair dressers, etc. help Duane Brooks, 636-7503 or Don Stagg, 835-3041 or Senior Services, 633-3741. _

Big Brothers and Big Sisters are wanted. 631-5360. Volunteers must be between the ages of 16 and 106 and be willing to spend several hours a week doing fun things with an at-risk child.

Emergency Foster Homes are needed for teens. The children are placed for up to 21 days. You are "on-call" every other month. Michele Bell, Midland County Probate Court (832-6398).

The Literacy Council of Midland County needs tutors to spend 1 1/2 hours two times a week helping others improve reading, writing, and spelling skills. rsvp 835-0540.
