Our chancel choir participated in the annual revival at Calvary UMC in Saginaw on April 26.
Members of Calvary joined us in a Lenten Potluck on March 28.

Thanks to Bishop Linda Lee for sharing with us on April 22.

Risen To Redeem was the title of a special 5 week Lenten journey.

We celebrated the Sacrament of Baptism on April 8 for:

Thanks to some 40 of our youth who lead us in worship, drama, and music at our services on March 11.

In mid-March, Rev. Stout led a special cruise on The Life and Teachings of St. Paul
which covered areas in Greece and Turkey where Paul lived and traveled.

The United Methodist Women held a mission study on "Children of Africa" in January and February.
_
Thanks to all who clip Campbell Soup labels and request Community Support certificates from Bill Knapps. The UMW sent 2,146 labels to Mills School PTO to help in purchasing playground equipment. $41.23 from Bill Knapps' certificates were donated to the Midland County Emergency Food Pantry.
_
February 18th was Souper Sunday. During the Sunday School time the children made Methodist Soup which was donated to The Open Door and Shelter House as part of their Souper Mission project to feed the hungry in Midland.
_
The Soup Supper on February 8 was a big success. Thanks to all who made desserts, soup, cut up vegetables, and cleaned up afterwards. thanks also to the Youth who helped.

On February 4, dedication of pew editions of the hymnal supplement of The Faith We Sing was made in memory of Richard C. Hoff. Dedication of choir and accompanist editions were made in memory of Scott W. Czerepinski, Henry T. Czerepinski, and Helen L. Monteith.

Congratulations to Mary Wackerle for the Midland Daily News article of February 4th on her volunteer work with the Shelterhouse.

Nan and Dick Skochdopole gave a presentation of their Volunteer in Mission trip to Africa University at a Missions Study meeting on January 21.
_
The annual meeting of Church Women United was held at Aldersgate on January 12. The guest speaker was Elizabeth Jacobs who told of a recent trip to Cuba as a member of a CWU study tour.
_
A Visioning Process meeting was held January 7 for those in the 18-50 age range.
_
Sixteen members attended a Be Still Adult Retreat at Bay Shore Camp in Sebewaing on January 5-6.
It is hoped that the retreat can be an annual event. Thanks to those who planned the retreat and to those who prayed for the attendees.
