Millions of students across the world met on September 18th 2002 to worship freely and to pray for their school, parents and lost friends . This annual fall event began 11 years ago when students wanted to gather and pray for their individual concerns. This grass roots movement has spread throughout the world. Students from Aldersgate United Methodist Church met around the flagpole at both Dow & Midland High Schools. At Midland High, approximately 110 students gathered to share prayer in music worship and in small groups. When students arrived, they joined the large circle as it dawned upon them that this was the gathering for the "See Ya At The Pole" group. Lots of things were prayed about and many lives have been touched by this annual event.
