SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School classes meet each Sunday Morning at 9:45 a.m. Classes are available for all ages, infants to adults.

CHILDREN'S CLASSES

Crib / Nursery : Birth - 2 yrs. - First floor, South hall.

2 & 3 Yr. Old : First floor, North hall.

Pre-School & Kindergarten : Second floor, South hall.

(Pre-School age divisions determined by age on Sept. 1)

First & Second Grades : Second floor, North hall.

Third Grade : Second floor, North hall.

Fourth & Fifth Grades : Second floor, North hall.

Junior High (Grades 6, 7, & 8) : Second floor, North hall.

Senior High (Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12) : Second floor, North hall.

ADULT CLASSES

New Beginnings Class : This class is made up of singles, couples, marrieds, divorcees, 20's, 30's, 40's...., some are fairly new to Perryton, some have lived here all their lives. In other words, anybody's welcome! Members of the New Beginnings Class want to make it a place where everyone feels comfortable learning and sharing. The group also has frequent get togethers outside the classroom as a way of getting to know each other better. Scott Strawn is the teacher. Second floor, South hall.

Young Adult Class : A truly unique class with true "young" adults to older "young" adults. We are a class that is very open in expressing our opinions and to keeping opinions to yourself. Our class changes weekly because someone is always teaching, or serving the church in other ways. So whether you're single or attending by yourself, you will be welcomed. Steve Ulrey is the teacher. Second floor, South hall.

Seminar Class : Seminar Class is open to all ages - younger, middle and older - and to every level of believer. There are Bible-Based discussions on topics for meaningful Spiritual Growth. People are free to ask, seek, and discuss without feeling judged. Always starts with a prayer moments to lift up families and friends. Latecomers and occasional attenders are gladly welcomed! Randy Brillhart is the leader (since 1982.) Second floor, North hall.

Questers Class : As the name implies, our class is on a quest for knowledge about God, allowing us to travel where the search takes us. We use the Bible, books written by contemporary Christians, and other resources to assist us in our ongoing journey for truth. First floor, South hall.

Friendship Class : Couples and singles. Adult studies with a combination of lecture and discussion. Elton Symons is the teacher. First floor, South hall.

Skyview Class : This class offers open discussion and Bible study for senior singles and couples. Joe Cook is the teacher. First floor, South hall.

Ladies Class : This Sunday School Class includes widows and wives of some of the men who attend the Business Men's class. Members discuss the lessons in the "Adult Bible Studies", an official resource for the United Methodist Church. The lessons are designed to help adults understand the meaning and the authority of the Bible for Christian life. Different translations of the Bible are used in the study and discussion of various passages. Different class members volunteer to teach each Sunday. Parlor, First floor, North hall.

Business Men's Class : This class is compiled of older men who are mostly retired. We discuss current events and many other topics with religious tones. Different class members volunteer to teach each Sunday. Scout room, First floor, North end.

New Bible Class : The New Bible Class is a Bible study class. We study individual books both of the Old and New Testaments, discuss particular themes and relate our learning to our circumstances and those of others who live as Christians in today's world. Different class members lead each Sunday. Library, North of church office.

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

United Methodist Women

: General Meeting first Thursday of the month in the church parlor. United Methodist Women has 3 "circles" (groups of women of similar ages and interests) that meet monthly. Check with church office or UMW members for times and places.

Junior High United Methodist Youth :

Grades 6 through 8 meet each Sunday evening for fellowship and learning. Special activities are planned throughout the year.

Senior High United Methodist Youth :

Grades 9 through 12 meet each Sunday evening for fellowship and learning. Special tips and activities are planned throughout the year.

MUSIC PROGRAM

Wesleyan Choir

: The Chancel Choir, directed by Barbara Richardson, rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (during the school year). The Choir presents special music throughout the year and sings at each worship service. Singers are always invited to join.

Hand Bell Choir :

The church has an adult hand bell choir that performs on special occasions .
